I don't know if this will ever reach you. Probably not, but I can't take this next step without leaving behind something, no matter how futile the gesture is.
I'm sorry that things didn't work out between us. Somehow, I feel like it's all my fault, but no matter how much I grieve over it, I can't figure out what I could have done differently.
Maybe if I have a new start I can finally get it right, instead of wrong like I always seem to have been lately. I've found these books and I know their secret. These transformations should be exactly what I need. I know of a book with a perfectly happy ending and I am leaving for it now.
Paul, darling, if you ever do read this, please think kindly of me. And if you truly do wish for our happiness as much as I think you do, look for me in "Warm Shores, Warm Hearts".
